Job Advert Summary

 

Greenway Farms is seeking a reliable and experienced Storeman to manage both the GP Store—housing all seeds, fertilizers, selected chemicals, and liquid fertilizers—and the EM Store, where biological products such as Lantana Tea and Compost Tea are brewed. The successful candidate will be responsible for all stock movements, accurate record-keeping, and upholding high standards of housekeeping, safety, and process compliance.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar warehouse, storeroom, or agricultural stock management role.

• Computer literate, with confidence working on ERP systems (Multicat experience is advantageous).

• Strong communication skills and high responsiveness.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

• Proven ability to maintain accurate records and follow structured processes.Advantages (Not Required)

• Valid forklift licence.

• Experience with agricultural inputs or biological brewing processes

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Control & Administration (GP & EM Stores)

• Manage all stock movement in and out of the GP and EM Stores.

• Always maintain and update all physical stock sheets for every product.

• Issue stock through the Multicat ERP system according to company procedures.

• Maintain accurate and orderly bookkeeping of job cards used for stock issuing.

• Follow the approved processes for stock issuing and returning unused WIP materials.

• Work closely with the BMS (Business Management Solutions) department during mid-month and month-end internal auditsEM Store – Biological Products Management

• Oversee and monitor stock levels of all raw materials and finished biological products in the EM Store.

• Keep complete and accurate brewing records for Lantana Tea, Compost Tea, and any other biological products.

• Ensure correct issuing, labelling, and tracking of all brewed products.

• Maintain strict process control and record accuracy for all biological brews.

• Receiving & Dispatch

• Receive deliveries from suppliers during reasonable working hours.

• Verify, record, and store all incoming stock correctly.

• Coordinate stock issuing and returns effectively with operators and supervisors.

• Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain a clean, tidy, safe, and organised GP and EM Store environment always.

• Ensure proper storage of fertilizers, seeds, chemicals, and biological products according to safety standards.

• Physically handle and move materials as required; the role requires physical fitness.

• Operational Support

• Be willing to work after hours when required by operational needs.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with operators, supervisors, and the BMS department.
