- Ensure strict compliance with all statutory requirements and guidelines
- Deliver quality workmanship to prevent equipment failure
- Utilize problem solving and 5Why model to address equipment failures to ensure no repeats
- Conduct planned maintenance on production and services equipment
- Attend to breakdown repairs on production / services equipment.
- Assist with projects and installation work.
- Creation and completion of JDE Work Orders for all electrical work conducted
- Safety and housekeeping.
- Be willing to work overtime
Job Requirements
- Matric
- Qualified electrician/millwright (Proof of certificate required)
- At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry (FMCG)
- PLC knowledge in fault finding (Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley).
- Electrical problem solving and diagnostic experience
- Hard wire and relay logic fault finding.
- Experience in high speed production equipment.
- Experience on AC drives (Danfoss, Siemens).
- Oven combustion (Gas) and temp control experience.
- High speed Inspection Systems Experience ( e.g. Pressco Inspection Cameras).
- Be able read and fault find from electrical schematic drawings.
- Good people relationship and communication at different levels.
- Be self motivated team player with a high level of commitment and drive.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Good attendance and time keeping.
