Introduction
We are looking for a Security Access Electronics Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic access control systems. This role is focused on practical, day-to-day technical work to ensure reliable operation of security devices across our facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with installation of electronic access devices (card readers, keypads, biometric scanners, electronic locks).
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on access control equipment.
• Support senior engineers in system upgrades and integrations.Conduct regular checks to confirm system functionality and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment status, and spare parts usage.
• Provide on-site support for staff experiencing access issues.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required Experience
• 1–2 years of experience working with electronic security or related electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, circuits, and electronic components.
• Familiarity with access control devices (RFID, card readers, or biometric systems).
• Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.Qualifications
• Technical certificate or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to learn and grow into advanced system responsibilities.
