Requirements:
- Be in possession on N2 and apprenticeship trade certificate
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in trade and in Mechanized Mining
- Have additional training experience in Hydraulic Systems and Troubleshooting
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure that mechanical equipment in the Trackless Mining Department is maintained in a highly effective and efficient state in accordance with company’s procedures for operations.
- Ensure health, safety and security of self and fellow artisans by applying safety and security standards and procedures in the execution of maintenance activities.
- Ensures that the condition monitoring of equipment, scheduled and planned maintenance are conducted timeously and effectively.
- Promotes and develops team work to become an effective team player.
