About the Role
As a Groups Agent, you will play a key role in supporting FlySafair’s group bookings and customer interactions. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Business Development and assist with coordinating multiple group reservations, responding to passenger inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience for all clients. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Booking and coordinating group travel efficiently
- Handling calls, emails, and other communications from passengers and prospective clients
- Providing timely assistance for bookings, lost property, or special requests
- Verifying payments, updating client records, and assisting with group changes
- Generating and following up on group quotations and bookings
- Offering feedback to management regarding recurring passenger issues to improve services
- Building and maintaining trust with clients through exceptional customer service
Requirements and Qualifications
FlySafair is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- Experience: Call centre experience preferred (It is not strictly required to have worked in a call centre to apply.
However, candidates who do have call centre experience will be given an advantage during the selection process.) - Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
- Accurate, up-to-date knowledge of FlySafair products and services
