CLEANER Position
Chief Directorate: Rural Health Services
Contract Duration: 12 Months
SALARY: R125,373 annually + 37% in service benefits
Location: Worcester Regional Hospital

Qualifications:

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Relevant cleaning experience in healthcare settings.

Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of Western Cape.

Familiarity with Infection Prevention and Control precautions.

Strong communication skills.

Job Role:

Undertake routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.

Ensure cleanliness and secure storage of cleaning equipment.

Properly use cleaning supplies and maintain stock.

Handle linen management and waste segregation.

Uphold a hygienic and safe environment in adherence to Infection Control Standards, including SEAT.

Maintain kitchen and restroom hygiene, including refilling toiletries.

Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies. Report any damages.
