Suitable candidates must have the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12
- Applicants are required to have a grade 12 certificate with Maths and Physical Science passed on a minimum Grade of 60% and with N2 qualification in engineering study.
The programme will cover qualifications speciality of technical positions relevant to Ivanplats Mine within the following discipline.
Auto Electrician
- Boilermaker
- Diesel Mechanic
- Fitter & Turner
- Instrumentation
- Mechanical Fitter
- Millwrights
- Rigger
Duration and Conditions:
- The successful candidates will be enrolled in a learnership programme for a maximum period of 3 years or upon receiving of Trade qualifications (whichever comes first).
- Candidates must be prepared to work underground and on surface, in all mining operations for Mining related qualifications.
- Must pass the relevant medical fitness examination.
- Willing to go through relevant capability assessment tool
