ARTISAN LEARNERSHIPs (REF: IVP-HRD- 2615)

Suitable candidates must have the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Grade 12
  • Applicants are required to have a grade 12 certificate with Maths and Physical Science passed on a  minimum Grade of 60% and with N2 qualification in  engineering study.

The programme will cover qualifications speciality of technical positions relevant to Ivanplats Mine within the following discipline.

 Auto Electrician

  • Boilermaker
  • Diesel Mechanic
  • Fitter & Turner
  • Instrumentation
  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Millwrights
  • Rigger

 Duration and Conditions:

  • The successful candidates will be enrolled in a learnership programme for a maximum period of 3 years or upon receiving of Trade qualifications (whichever comes first).
  • Candidates must be prepared to  work underground and on surface, in all mining operations for Mining related qualifications.
  • Must pass the relevant medical fitness examination.
  • Willing to go through relevant capability assessment tool

 The following must be attached to all applications:

  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • SA Identity document.
  • Letter from the tribal authority/INDUNA
