Tasks

As a Grants Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Screening and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all grant applications
  • Capturing grant application information onto SASSA systems
  • Providing excellent customer care and support at service points
  • Managing grant documentation and performing administrative tasks
  • Conducting quality control on all grant applications
  • Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Chapter 6, Part 3

Qualifications

To be eligible for these roles, applicants must possess:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – NQF Level 4
  • Computer literacy is essential

Experience

While not mandatory, the following will be considered advantageous:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
